Charlotte Tilbury Magic Body Cream

This is a bottom of the jar review — I used every last bit of this product before giving my honest opinion.

Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Body Cream is a luxurious tightening body cream. It contains caffeine and an ALGAKTIV complex meant to firm the skin, plus a combination of several oils for moisture. It retails for $65 for 6.7 ounces — yes, that's expensive.

This is a really lovely body cream that does several things well:

• Tightening sensation — you can actually feel it tightening the skin a bit
• Moisturizes really, really well — beautifully hydrating from the oils blend
• Beautiful subtle sheen — gives skin a soft, radiant glow (not glittery, not "going to the club" — just pretty)
• Lovely soft scent — pleasant but doesn't compete with anything
• Skin looks radiant — that's the magic of it

The formula features caffeine for tightening, ALGAKTIV complex for firming, and a blend of nourishing oils for moisture and that gorgeous sheen.

The price is obnoxious. $65 for 6.7 ounces of body cream is a lot — even for a luxury product. I will repurchase, but not often. Because it has that pretty sheen, I'll probably save it for the summertime when more skin is exposed.

• Loves the tightening + moisturizing combo
• Has the budget for luxury body care
• Wants something that smells nice without being overpowering

I give the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Body Cream a 7 out of 10 — and the rating is entirely about the price. The product itself is kind of awesome. It's a great body lotion with a beautiful sheen, lovely scent, and real tightening + moisturizing benefits. But $65 for under 8 oz is hard to justify as an everyday item.
