With Crisalix 3D simulation, offered as part of Dr. Kelly Killeen's consultation, you can preview implant sizes on a 3D model of your own body before making a decision.
It is one of several tools Dr. Killeen uses to plan your size, alongside your exam and physical implant sizers. She primarily uses Crisalix, and the office also has a Vectra 3D imaging system.
How It Works
For a virtual consultation, you take and upload the photos from home. If you come into the office, the photos can be taken there instead.

How 3D Imaging Fits Into Choosing a Size
A Range, Not One Number
There is no single right implant size. The goal is to settle on a range you will be happy with, and the simulation helps you get there. Implant volume is measured in cc, not cup sizes (how many cc are in a cup size).
3D and Physical Sizers
Virtual sizing and physical sizers worn in your bra give you different information, so Dr. Killeen uses both. The simulation shows the shape on your body, while sizers show how the volume looks and feels in your own clothes. You can even try a version at home (the rice trick).
Volume Measurements
3D imaging also estimates the volume of each breast. That turns a vague conversation about size into numbers, which helps plan implant size for reconstruction, a breast reduction, or correcting a difference between the two sides.
