This is a bottom of the jar review — I used every last bit of this product before giving my honest opinion.
The Kosas BB Burst Tinted Gel Cream is a tinted gel cream moisturizer with copper peptides. It was originally $38 for 1 oz and comes in a lot of different colors. I wore color 13. Note: this product has been discontinued, but it's currently on sale everywhere for under $20.
It comes in a nice plastic pump component — no complaints there. Easy to dispense and use.
This product really makes your skin look beautiful, dewy, and smooth. Here's what I found:
There's one thing people really disliked about this product: the formula separates in the bottle. When it comes out, you get a clear liquid and then the tinted gel. Both bottles I received were like this. I personally didn't have a problem with it — it mixes up really easily and applies beautifully — but this is what got the product discontinued. People hated the separation.
It needs to be set if you don't want it transferring. Without setting powder, it can transfer onto clothes and surfaces. That's worth knowing before you commit.
If you want a light-medium coverage, dewy finish foundation at a bargain price, this is worth grabbing before it sells out. It's currently available for under $20 on Amazon, Sephora, and other retailers. Just know you'll need to mix it before each use and set it with powder.
Note: This product was gifted to me by Kosas, but this is my honest review after using the entire bottle.
I give the Kosas BB Burst Tinted Gel Cream a 7 out of 10. It's actually a pretty good product that makes skin look beautiful and dewy. The separation issue didn't bother me, but I understand why it turned people off. If you can grab it on sale, it's a great deal for a nice light-coverage BB cream.
