The spray component is horrible. It clogs up constantly, literally between sprays, and instead of a fine mist I get a stream of liquid straight into my eyeball. It is the worst component I have ever had on a setting spray, and that is saying something. I will not repurchase.

Time for a bottom of the jar review of the Milk Makeup Pore Eclipse Setting Spray. And I'll be upfront: this one is a disappointment, which surprised me because I usually like Milk products.
Full disclosure on how thoroughly I tested this: I went through two of these (poor decision making at the Sephora sale last fall), and I had the same problems with both. So this isn't one defective unit.
A matte, alcohol-free setting spray. $38 for 85 mL (2.87 oz).
Let's start with the good news, because performance-wise I really like this setting spray:
If this review were only about how it performs on the face, it would score well. Unfortunately, it isn't.
It makes horrible water spots all over my jewelry, and they are very difficult to remove.
Setting spray is usually my absolute last step, and I'm not especially careful about aim. The result is terrible water spots on my earrings that don't just come off with water. You have to actually work at them.
The product comes in a black component that is very difficult to read. If you have a lot of products in that same color, and I unfortunately do, it takes a second to work out which one you're holding every single time. Small thing, mildly infuriating daily.
This is the one that sinks it.
Like most setting sprays, you have to shake it. Fine. But the spray component is horrible. It's very wide with a narrow base, so unless you're positioned perfectly over it, it doesn't spray properly.

It is honestly the worst component I've ever had on a setting spray, and that's saying something, because there are some pretty bad ones out there.
No. And it's worth being clear about why: even if I owned one of those little shields you hold up to protect your hair and jewelry from setting spray, I still wouldn't buy this again. The component is simply too bad. I don't want to spend my mornings picking at a nozzle trying to unclog it just to get a fine mist.
There are better products out there. Charlotte Tilbury's has recently become my absolute favorite in this category.
It's kind of a meh for me. I usually like Milk products, so this was a real letdown, a good formula trapped inside a bottle that won't deliver it properly.
