Senté Dermal Repair Cream

This is a bottom of the jar review — I used every last bit of this product before giving my honest opinion. And this has become one of my absolute favorite products.

The Senté Dermal Repair Cream is a light cream for redness and irritation. It retails for $164 for 50 mL (1.7 oz) — yes, expensive. But it's the best over-the-counter product I've found for redness, and it carries the National Rosacea Society Seal of Acceptance.

This is a wonderful, well-behaved cream:

• Light cream — moisturizing but doesn't replace your moisturizer
• Plays well with other products — no pilling, layers cleanly
• Makeup goes right over it — no compatibility issues
• Calms redness fast — that's the whole point
• Incredible for healing skin after lasers and peels

The wow ingredient is Heparan Sulfate Analog (HSA) — Senté's patented technology. Note: this is not heparin (the blood thinner) for my medical friends, despite the similar name. HSA works by boosting your skin's natural immune response to inflammation.

It's also formulated with green tea extract and vitamin E for additional antioxidant support.

I don't use it every day — I use it when I'm red and irritated. It's especially incredible:

• After lasers and peels during the healing window
• For chronic flushers — if you get red for weeks after a procedure or treatment
• For sensitive, reactive skin (like mine) that gets red from everything

This is essential for:

• Rosacea or chronically red/flushed skin
• Patients in laser or peel recovery
• Sensitive skin that reacts to most products
• People who heal but stay red for weeks

I give the Senté Dermal Repair Cream a 10 out of 10. So expensive, but so good. I've repurchased it several times and it lives in my routine permanently for irritated days and post-procedure recovery. Love.
