SkinCeuticals Clear Daily Soothing UV Defense SPF 50

This is a bottom of the jar review — I used every last bit of this product before giving my honest opinion.

The SkinCeuticals Clear Daily Soothing UV Defense Sunscreen is a hybrid mineral and chemical SPF 50, developed specifically for sensitive and acne-prone skin. It retails for $54 for 1 ounce — a bit spendy. It comes in a plastic component with an airless pump.

This product is fantastic from the first use:

• Light cooling feel — not the typical greasy SPF feel, more like a light moisturizer
• Reduces redness — designed for redness-prone skin
• Plays well with all skincare products — I rotate things a lot and never had compatibility issues
• No pilling — works smoothly in any routine
• Great under makeup — applies cleanly
• No white cast on fair skin — I'm very fair, but darker skin tones may want to test first since it contains mineral SPF

This is a hybrid mineral + chemical sunscreen, which gives you the best of both:

• Mineral filters reflect UV (good for sensitive skin)
• Chemical filters absorb UV (for broad-spectrum coverage with less white cast)

This is an excellent option for:

• Sensitive skin that reacts to most SPFs
• Acne-prone skin that needs a non-greasy daily protector
• Redness-prone skin (rosacea, post-procedure flushing, etc.)
• People who layer lots of skincare and need something compatible

I give the SkinCeuticals Clear Daily Soothing UV Defense SPF 50 a 10 out of 10. This was my first time using it, and I've already repurchased. It's so, so good — soothing, light, non-greasy, and works beautifully under everything. For my friends with sensitive skin and redness, this is a fantastic option.
