The Versed Press Restart Gentle Retinol Body Lotion is a retinol body lotion designed to address sun damage and pigmentation on the body. It retails for just under $18 for 8 ounces and comes in a simple plastic tube. It's easy to find — they carry it at Target.

Standard plastic tube — nothing fancy, but functional. Easy to squeeze out and use.

This is a mid-weight moisturizer that's moderately moisturizing. Here's what I found:

• Fades sun damage and pigmentation — after a few months of use on my arms (where I notice sun damage the most), it really significantly faded
• No skin irritation or peeling — despite containing a retinoid, it was completely gentle
• No sun sensitivity — though I do wear sunblock every day, I didn't notice any increased sensitivity
• Clean beauty brand — avoids a lot of the ingredients people worry about (though Dr. Killeen notes those ingredients are all safe)

The formula features encapsulated retinol along with squalane, vitamin E, and cocoa butter — a nice combination of anti-aging actives with moisturizing ingredients.

Anyone looking to address body pigmentation and sun damage, particularly on the arms, chest, or other sun-exposed areas. It's a great option if you want to add a retinoid to your body care routine without irritation.
